In the midst of the pandemic, OMSG-Officine Meccaniche San Giorgio SpA was able to complete the installation of a new Roller conveyor shot blast machine type LAUCO 1500 NS at a very important Australian customer in the State of South Australia.
The customer produces Steel construction, mainly for Industrial-Comercial-Residential buildings.
The purpose of the shot blasting machine is to prepare the surface of the beams for the subsequent painting treatment, and to ensure good adhesion and a grade SA 2½ as finishing.
Since production is very high, OMSG has installed n°4 turbines, power 22 Kw/each with a direct motor. The machine, which has an inlet section of 1500 x 500 height, is also equipped with lateral cross transfers for both the automatic loading and unloading of the beams.
