OMSG Officine Meccaniche San Giorgio Spa from Villa Cortese (Italy) has manufactured a new tunnel shot blast machine type TUNNELBLAST, for a primary customer in Emilia Romagna, for the blasting treatment of components of agricultural machinery, earth moving machinery and industrial machinery.
The purpose of shot blasting is to prepare these parts (final degree request SA 2½) for the subsequent painting treatment.
The peculiarity of this shot blast machine is that the overhead conveyor is closed in a ring, and the pieces are moved from one overhead line to another, through robot manipulation.
